What we're building
Inkformer is a platform built for the tattoo industry — connecting artists and studios for guest spots, residencies, and permanent positions. Clients can discover, follow, and book artists working or guesting in their city. It's a professional tool first and a community second, purpose-built for how the tattoo world actually works.
No marketplace fees, no payment processing middlemen, no expansion into piercing or PMU. Just tattoo. We believe the industry deserves a dedicated platform that understands the culture, respects the craft, and actually works.
Why we built this
The guest spot process is broken. Artists scroll through Instagram DMs hoping to land a chair. Studios post on Facebook groups hoping the right person sees it. Clients have no idea their favorite artist is guesting 20 minutes away. Everything happens through scattered social media, word of mouth, and luck.
We saw this firsthand — through years of being part of the tattoo community. So we built the tool we wished existed: one place where artists find studios, studios find artists, and clients find everyone.
Who we are
Inkformer was founded by people deeply embedded in the tattoo world. We're not outsiders building a tech product and hoping the industry adopts it — we're insiders who got tired of the status quo and decided to fix it.
Our starting community isn't a marketing campaign — it's a network of artists and studios we know personally. Every early feature was shaped by real conversations with real people in the industry.
We're just getting started. The platform you see today is the foundation — there's a lot more on the way. A dedicated mobile app, editorial content, convention coverage, industry interviews, and features we haven't even announced yet. If you're here early, you're in the right place.
