1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Inkformer ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and will notify registered users of material changes via email.
2. Description of Service
Inkformer is a platform connecting tattoo artists, studios, and clients for the purpose of arranging guest spots, residencies, permanent positions, and tattoo appointments. The Platform facilitates connections and communication between users. Inkformer is not a party to any agreement, financial transaction, or arrangement made between users.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person — creating multiple accounts to circumvent bans or restrictions is prohibited. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
4. User Roles
The Platform supports three user roles: Artist, Studio, and Client. Your selected role determines available features and interactions. Role selection occurs during onboarding and cannot be changed without creating a new account.
5. Subscriptions & Payments
Some features require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed monthly or annually through Stripe. Prices are listed on our Pricing page and may be updated with reasonable notice. All accounts start on the Free tier. Premium features are available by upgrading to a paid plan at any time. All payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.
6. Bookings & Financial Transactions
Inkformer facilitates booking confirmations between users but does not process, manage, or guarantee any financial transactions between parties. All payments for services (deposits, tattoo fees, guest spot arrangements) are handled directly between users outside the Platform. Inkformer bears no responsibility for disputes arising from financial arrangements between users.
7. Content & Conduct
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Platform (images, text, reviews). By uploading content, you grant Inkformer a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content on the Platform. You may not upload content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or infringes on intellectual property rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms.
8. Reviews
Reviews must be based on genuine completed bookings. Fake reviews, review manipulation, or retaliatory reviews are prohibited. The reviewed party may post one public reply. Inkformer reserves the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines.
9. No-Show & Cancellation Policy
Users may report no-shows or late cancellations within 72 hours of the booking date. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team on a case-by-case basis. Possible outcomes include dismissal, warnings, or account bans. Reported users may submit appeals through the Platform.
10. Prohibited Conduct
Users may not: create fake or misleading profiles; harass, threaten, or abuse other users; spam or send unsolicited commercial messages; attempt to circumvent platform security or access controls; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose; scrape or collect user data without authorization.
11. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Users may delete their own accounts at any time through Settings. Account deletion results in immediate profile removal and data anonymization. Booking and review records are retained in anonymized form.
12. Intellectual Property
The Inkformer name, logo, and platform design are the intellectual property of Inkformer. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works of Platform content without permission, except for sharing their own Editor's Pick badges and profile links.
13. Limitation of Liability
Inkformer is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, interactions with other users, or financial transactions conducted outside the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Inkformer in the 12 months preceding any claim.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction of Inkformer's registered business. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
