Inkformer ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal data when you use our platform at inkformer.com. By using Inkformer, you consent to the practices described in this policy.

Account information:Email address, name, profile photo, location (city), and role selection (artist, studio, or client). If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your public profile information from those services.

Profile content:Bio text, portfolio images, style preferences, availability dates, studio affiliations, and any other information you choose to add to your profile.

Activity data:Messages, bookings, reviews, posts, comments, likes, follows, and reports you create on the Platform.

Technical data:IP address, browser type, device information, and general usage patterns. We use this for security, fraud detection, and platform improvement.

Location data:If you use the "Near me" feature, your browser may share your approximate location. This is only used for search results and is never stored permanently.

We use your personal data to: provide and operate the Platform; display your profile to other users; facilitate messaging and bookings; process subscription payments; send transactional emails (welcome, booking confirmations); improve Platform features and user experience; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with: Supabase (database and authentication hosting); Stripe (payment processing); Bunny.net (image storage and CDN delivery); Google Places API (location autocomplete); Resend (transactional email delivery). These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate data processing agreements. Your public profile information (name, bio, portfolio, location, styles) is visible to all Platform visitors by design.

We use minimal cookies and local storage: a theme preference (dark/light mode) stored in localStorage; authentication session cookies managed by Supabase; Stripe payment session cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. A cookie consent banner is displayed on your first visit.

Active accounts: data retained for the lifetime of your account. Deleted accounts: profile hidden immediately, personal data anonymized. Booking and review records are retained in anonymized form to maintain platform integrity. Technical logs (IP addresses, etc.) are retained for up to 12 months for security purposes.

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data (right to be forgotten); object to or restrict processing of your data; data portability (receive your data in a structured format); withdraw consent at any time. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including: encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS); Row Level Security on all database tables; separate admin access with audit logging; secure authentication via Supabase Auth with email verification. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Inkformer is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 18, we will delete that account promptly.

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including countries where our service providers operate. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any international data transfers in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users via email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
